Vinyl Side Monday Challenge

Communique by Monday night bartender Robert Griffin:So every Monday we do this vinyl side thing. Bring in a record, preferably one that you never thought you'd hear in a bar or at least didn't come from a dollar bin, we play a side of it, drinks and fun follow. But this week we're doing something a bit more special: the Vinyl Side Monday Challenge. Your mission should you choose to accept it: bring a record that has something to... do with the keyword JANUARY. Perhaps the keyword is contained in the artist's name or song/album title. Perhaps the record just makes you think of January, or winter. Or it makes you think of that girl Jan that you used to see. The class broads DJs Bitch, Please! will woman the decks, playing the appropriate tracks or sides, then later just freestyle with the resulting pile of LPs. The first 8 LPs to be accepted receive a half pint of delicious beer, and if someone brings in something really special, Robert will make them a cocktail tailored to the vibe of that record, gratis. The festivites begin at 10pm.... bring it!
