Royale First Responder Relief Station

We would like to thank the Saint Louis Fire Department for working hard to put out major fire in a neighbors building. Just to the north of the Royale next to Modern Kitchen & Bath there was an adjacent building that went up in flames at 9am Friday morning. There were no injuries despite the enormity of the blaze. Kingshighway was blocked off for about six hours. The pretty and older storefront large building had been used primarily for storage in recent memory.I opened up my house, the Royale, to the first responders to act as a relief station so all could cool down on the hot day. We served up cold water and some breakfast for the Firefighters and Police on the scene. Here are my pictures of the action that day.
