****Tickets very limited- order NOW****Please join us for an intimate evening at The Royale as we ring in the new year in Prohibition-era speakeasy style.The Royale is offering very limited seating for just 50 dinner guests on New Year's Eve 2011. Hurry to reserve your seat! There will also be a limited number of additional tickets available for general admission after the dinner hour.Pokey LaFarge will be manning the Victrola for the evening, sharing music of the era from his collection of vintage 78rpm records.Dinner tickets cost $50 and include a complimentary serving of punch upon arrival, a five course meal, and a champagne toast at midnight. Dinner guests will also receive a complimentary copy of Robbi Courtaway's book "Wetter Than The Mississippi: Prohibition in Saint Louis & Beyond." (Dinner tickets are inclusive of tax and gratuity for dinner. Additional cocktails, beer and wine available for purchase, plus gratuity.)Dinner guests will be seated between 7 and 9pm. The menu will feature:Celery, Olives and Salted Almonds (a traditional Prohibition-era starter)Winter squash and apple soup with herbed goat cheese bruschettaRoasted root vegetable stuffed pork loin with braised carrot risotto -OR- Potato and root vegetable pavé with watercress and marinara sauces (vegetarian)Salad of baby bibb lettuce and citrus fruits in vinaigretteHoliday sweets -OR- cheeses and dried fruitsDinner tables are available for groups of 2 or 4, with one table for 6 available. Bar seats are also available in any increment.General admission costs $15 and opens at 10pm.
